Arushi Mittal

Arushi’s professional experience is rooted in the life assurance sector, specifically within the Irish domestic and cross-border life assurance markets. Arushi has extensive actuarial modelling experience, specifically in IFRS 17 and asset pricing.

Arushi’s expertise includes developing, maintaining, and validating actuarial models across multiple modelling systems, such as Prophet, Risk Agility FM, Excel/VBA, Python, and Prophet DCS, and is proficient with visualization tools like Qlik, SQL and MS Access.

Prior to joining Milliman, Arushi was heavily involved in the implementation and validation of IFRS 17 at Athora Ireland.

Arushi has experience in supporting colleagues in discharging both the Reviewing Actuary and Independent Actuary role.

She has designed, developed, and validated Asset Pricing projection models in Excel and Risk Agility FM.

She has substantial experience with process improvement and automation using Python, SQL, and VBA from a previous role at Irish Life.

Arushi has published research on validation of actuarial data and results, climate and inflation research, and Solvency II review.

Arushi is also keeping up to date on developments in the areas of actuarial modelling and Solvency II.
