Fernando Mesquida is a principal in Milliman’s Argentina office, which is a base for Latin American projects. He was the founder of Fernando Mesquida & Associates in 1996, and the company joined Milliman in September 2013.

Experience

Fernando has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant in the insurance industry. He assists insurance companies in financial and strategic management issues, M&A, product development, pricing, and reserving. He has led important projects in most significant Latin American economies and some European countries.

He made significant contributions to legislation in Argentina regarding insurance and social security activities.

Prior to his consulting career, he was chief actuarial officer of a leading life and annuity company in Argentina.

Fernando is a native speaker of Spanish. He is also fluent in English and Portuguese.
