Current Responsibility

Danny is a consulting actuary in the Singapore office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2012.

Danny's role is to set the direction for Milliman's Employee Benefits practice in Asia and the Middle East.


Danny's consulting experience is in the design, implementation, valuation, and administration of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement programs. He has experience with valuation, accounting disclosure, and administration requirements for a wide variety of retirement plans. He has worked on both private sector and public sector plans, including a social security plan in the Middle East.

Danny also has extensive experience in investment consulting, including setting asset allocation strategies, researching and monitoring fund managers and advising at board level.

Danny first began consulting in Asia in Hong Kong in 1989 with Watson Wyatt as a pension's actuary and investment consultant. In 1998, he became Watson Wyatt's country manager in Malaysia and in 2004 took the role of head of investment consulting in South East Asia (covering Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia). From 2006-2008, Danny was based in London, heading Mercer's Global Investment Management Data distribution with responsibility for global sales. Then, prior to returning to Asia and joining Milliman, he had his own practice in the U.K.
